- Ritz-Carlton Doha – Cigar Lounge -

Client: Ritz-Carlton Doha

Role: Creative Director / Digital Artist
Collaborator: Bora Güney – International Art Curator

My "Kardeş" Bora Güney, brought me a challenging brief for one of his VIP clients — The Ritz-Carlton Doha, who had just completed its new "Cigar and Whisky Lounge" and in need for Art pieces to complete it's luxurious interior.

The request required more than artistic skill, it demanded deep cultural understanding. The artworks had to embody authenticity and luxury while featuring an international Cigar collection and evoking a refined Whisky ambience.

Here was the challenge:
Alcohol is prohibited in Islam
due to it's health risks and consequences on the community, and Qatar has a deeply conservative cultural environment. A direct portrayal of whisky could be culturally inappropriate.

So here is what I did:

  • Used double exposure techniques to integrate whisky glasses with maps, making them a subtle -almost hidden detail- that’s not immediately recognizable from afar.
  • Incorporated Arabic calligraphy to anchor the works in authenticity and sophistication.
  • Used handmade trade maps in the background to reference Qatar’s historical role as a harbor for merchant ships, enhancing both the heritage and luxury narrative.

The result was a series of bespoke artworks in various sizes that seamlessly balanced brand elegance, cultural respect and visual storytelling, transforming the lounge into a space that feels both global and rooted in Qatari identity.

- North Oil Company (NOC) 5th Anniversary -

Client: North Oil Company, Qatar
Occasion: 5th Anniversary Celebration
Role: Creative Director / Digital Artist
Year: 2023

For it's 5th anniversary, North Oil Company wanted an artwork to mark a milestone of success, reflect on the achievements of its nationalization program and celebrate the contribution of Qataris shaping the company’s present and future.

Objective:
The artwork needed to embody NOC’s accomplishments, cultural values and vision, while resonating with employees, partners, and stakeholders at a celebration in the company’s calendar.

My Approach:
I drew inspiration from the Whale Shark, Whale Sharks are not only a symbol of NOC’s environmental commitment through its conservation sponsorship, but also a majestic national emblem rooted in Qatar’s waters. Paired with a sunrise color palette, expansive sky and flowing clouds were visual metaphors for infinite possibilities, an ever-brightening future and the enduring journey of national pride and achievement.

- Jordan Diplomatic Mosaic -

Client: The Royal Hashemite Court – Diplomatic Missions
Role: Creative Consultant / Art Director
Year: 2021

As part of my role with the Royal Hashemite Court, I was entrusted with developing works intended to represent Jordan on a global stage, projecting national identity during official celebrations and international events.

Objective
To create a culturally authentic artwork that reflects Jordan’s heritage and artistic legacy while resonating with diverse international audiences in diplomatic contexts.

My Approach
Jordan is world-renowned for its Mosaic Heritage, with some of the finest collections preserved in UNESCO World Heritage sites across the country. I drew inspiration from this tradition to create contemporary artwork in the Mosaic style, referencing patterns and motifs from Jordan’s vast historical archive.

This piece connected Jordan’s ancient artistic identity with its modern national narrative, offering embassies a timeless visual symbol to represent the Kingdom abroad.
